Frequently asked questions
What actually qualifies as an emergency versus a standard repair?
Active water intrusion, storm damage, fire-related issues, or a gas smell are emergencies. A known crack that isn’t actively leaking, or a routine maintenance item, can typically wait for standard scheduling, and we’ll tell you honestly which applies.
Do you charge more for after-hours emergency calls?
Emergency response outside normal hours does carry a different rate than standard scheduled work, which we’ll always be upfront about before dispatching.
Can you do a temporary fix until a full repair is scheduled?
Yes, temporary tarping or boarding to stop active damage is often the right first step, with the permanent repair scheduled once the immediate danger is addressed.
Will you help with insurance documentation?
Yes, we provide photo documentation of the damage and cause, which is typically what insurers need to process a claim.
